There are times that missionaries, in addition to bringing alleged biblical
proofs to the concept of the son of G-d, will make the following point: Since
G-d is omnipotent (can do anything) then it should be at least be conceivable
that He (or part of Him) came down to Earth in the form of a human. Another
way they may phrase it is, is so hard to believe that G-d can do that?I would
like to say that that question is distinctly related to a famous
philosophical question people like to pose about G-d.

The famous question is: Can G-d create a stone that is too heavy for Him to
lift? In other words, since G-d in omnipotent, then that means He can do
anything, including create a stone too heavy for Him to lift. But if that’s
the case, then how can He not lift it since he can do anything? If one ponders
the question and expands on it a bit, one realizes that one can ask other
similar questions. For example, can G-d destroy Himself? Can G-d cause
Himself to forget something? Can G-d cause Himself to be not omnipotent? In
other words, it can be generally asked, since G-d is omnipotent, can He limit
Himself in any way that would go against His very definition? The answer is no.

G-d cannot destroy Himself since that would go against His very definition of
always existing (and always will). G-d cannot make Himself forget something
as that would go against His very definition of being omniscient. G-d cannot
make a stone too heavy for Himself to lift as that would go against the very
definition of His omnipotence.

In other words, simply stated, G-d cannot limit Himself in anyway. This does
not mean necessarily that G-d is not omnipotent. It just means that one has
to rethink what omnipotence means. One runs into these kinds of paradoxes all
the time when one deals with infinity. Now, the original question of why G-d
cannot become a man can be answered within this framework. One realizes that
it is the same question. A man is a limited creature. G-d is limitless.

If G-d were to place Himself (or part of Himself) as a man, then that would
go against the very definition of G-d. G-d cannot limit Himself, so G-d
cannot make Himself a man. Once you have a man, then, by definition of what a
man is, then that man cannot be G-d. By definition of what G-d is, He cannot
be a man. Also, since G-d is limitless, there cannot be any parts to
Him.Thus, the concept of the son of G-d in the literal sense is a theological
impossibility.
